Scope

This privacy policy informs users about the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider (see legal notice) on this website (hereinafter referred to as "the Offer").

The legal basis for data protection is found in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Access Data / Server Log Files

The provider (or its webspace provider) collects data about every access to the Offer (so-called server log files). Access data includes:

Name of the accessed webpage, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, message about successful access, browser type and version, user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical analysis for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of the Offer. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently review the log data if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data to draw conclusions about your person.

You can visit the website without providing any personal information.

Handling of Personal Data

Personal data is information that allows a person to be identified, i.e., details that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address, or telephone number. But data about preferences, hobbies, memberships, or websites visited by someone also count as personal data.

Personal data is collected, used, and disclosed by the provider only if this is legally permitted or the users consent to the data collection.

We only share your personal data with third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,

  • the disclosure is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not having your data disclosed,

  • in the event that there is a legal obligation for disclosure under Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and

  • it is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you under Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.

You have the right to

  • request information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data was or will be disclosed, the planned storage duration, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;

  • request the correction of inaccurate or completion of your personal data stored by us pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR;

  • request the deletion of your personal data stored by us pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;

  • request the restriction of processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful but you oppose its deletion, and we no longer need the data but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;

  • receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another controller pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR;

  • withdraw your consent at any time pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. This means we may no longer continue data processing based on this consent in the future;

  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR. In general, you can contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work or of our headquarters.

Data Minimization

We do not store device and card identifiers (IMEI, UDIS, IMSI, MAC addresses), SIM card numbers, biometric data such as fingerprints, or IP addresses.

Data Security

flAPPdev uses the SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) for all data transmissions, in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. Usually, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we fall back on 128-bit technology. You can recognize whether an individual page of our website is encrypted by the closed key or lock icon in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Contacting Us

When contacting the provider (e.g., via contact form or email), the user's information is stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case follow-up questions arise. The transmitted data will not be shared with third parties without the user's express consent.

Integration of Third-Party Services and Content

It is possible that third-party content such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds, or graphics from other websites may be integrated within this online offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") perceive the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the user's browser. The IP address is therefore required for displaying this content. We strive to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for delivering the content. However, we have no control if third-party providers store the IP address, e.g., for statistical purposes. If known to us, we inform users accordingly.

In the case of embedding YouTube videos, the plugin of the provider YouTube is used. YouTube is operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube is represented by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

When you access pages of our website that are equipped with such a plugin, a connection is made to YouTube servers and the plugin is displayed. This tells the YouTube server which of our websites you visited. If you are logged in as a YouTube member, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account. When using the plugin, such as clicking the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your YouTube account and other accounts of YouTube LLC and Google Inc. before using our website and deleting the corresponding cookies of the companies.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that allow the storage of specific device-related information on the user's access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). They serve to make websites more user-friendly (e.g., storing login data) and to collect statistical data on website usage, which can then be analyzed to improve the Offer. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that limits or completely prevents the storage of cookies. However, it is noted that the use and especially the convenience of use without cookies may be restricted.

You can manage many online advertising cookies from companies via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/. Instructions for disabling cookies in common browsers can be found at the following links:

Downloading Apps from the Apple App Store

When downloading the apps offered by flAPPdev to your iOS device, the necessary information is transmitted to Apple or the App Store/iTunes. These data include your username, email address (Apple ID), customer number of your account, time of download, and the individual device identifier. We have no control over this data collection, are not responsible for it, and do not receive any of this data from Apple in a personally identifiable form. This also applies to any in-app purchases made from the app.

Revocation, Changes, Corrections, and Updates

If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided there are reasons for doing so that arise from your particular situation or the objection is against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object that will be implemented by us without specification of a particular situation.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal or objection, simply send us an email.

Changes to this Privacy Policy – Current Status

Due to the further development of our website and offers or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to change this privacy policy. The current privacy policy can be accessed and printed at any time on the website under Privacy.
